Basically anything is being marketed over the internet from relics to life insurance policies and even computers and appliances are also being offered online. In Australia, they know where to look for those varieties of appliances and it's JBHiFi.
JBHiFi or JB HiFi is the largest online equipment seller outlet in all of Australia. When the Hi-Fi was still very popular, it started its operation in the year 1975 back. JB Hi-Fi was established by John Barbuto on that year. He sold the shop to Richard Bouris and David Rodd. During that time, JB branched out all over Melbourne and Sydney with 10 stores and it gained a whooping $150 million by the year 2000.
Rather, it grew into one of the first-ever Australian music retailer store that sold CDs exclusively. Due to of the request for CDs in 1991 raised, JB Hi-Fi opened new shops in Melbourne and before anybody knew it, JB was already present in other cities in Australia as well as in New Zealand.
But, that didn't cease JB Hi-Fi from moving on to other industries. When they saw the progression of technology in both audio and video structures, the company started selling many consumer electronics products from LCD televisions, digital cameras, portable audio equipment, car stereo computer, equipment and video game consoles, freezers and refrigerators, gadgets and mobile devices, CB radios and even different musical instruments from guitars, drums, ukuleles, electronic keyboard including pianos and even CCTV cameras and CCTV systems.
Currently, JBHiFi has more than 170 outlets all over Australia, In 2014 of August, 13 branches were opened in New Zealand. And as though these are all not adequate enough for JB, it broadened even more by providing streaming music service which they call JB Hi-Fi NOW. This service enables people stream unlimited music and they charge A$ 99 a year. If the States has its personal music streaming service, Australia now has its own and it's even expanding towards the West.
